As a HR Onboarding Program Specialist, you will be a member of the Global Business Services team in the Employee Life Cycle, responsible for delivering HR service assistance to the HR community, business managers and employees
Reporting to the Contact Center Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of employee Onboarding Programs within the US, to ensure we have robust service offerings that offer a positive Onboarding experience for multiple employee groups at ABB. This person will support and partner with the Sr. HR Onboarding Program Lead with implementing and maintaining an onboarding strategy and program. The role will lead ad hoc projects related to program development and enhancements. This is a highly visible and important position that will have the opportunity to take on more responsibilities as ABB’s Onboarding function continues to scale. Additionally, the role will interface with all levels of a matrixed organization and will interact and be the face of ABB. Candidates for this position must have a proven ability to keep up with multiple priorities with continuous customer-centric mindset.
Your responsibilities
Act as liaison between the HR Onboarding program, Global Business Services, HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to develop and maintain a seamless Onboarding experience.
Promote the strategic and customer-centric value of onboarding within the organization
Partner in the development and design of enhanced or new program offerings that support our business model and needs
Support and maintain various platforms systems of the onboarding program by creating and managing data streams and workflows
Participate as a project contributor which includes, but is not limited to, onboarding implementation projects, enhancements, integrations and global adoption
Provide Hiring Manager and Candidate care and function as the proactive point of contact to support new employees
Provide feedback and contribute ideas to the continuous improvement model and streamline the on-boarding process
Manage scheduling, which may include post-hire activities, learning modules or scheduling new employee orientation for incoming new hire groups
Maintenance of program governance including policies, procedures, and new employee portal content
Manage completion of Form I-9 and e-Verify for new hires based on U.S. Compliance guidelines
Lead ad hoc projects as assigned when it comes to the development and change management involved in the maintenance of a value-enhanced and strategic onboarding program
Your background
3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, bachelor’s degree qualification or equivalent education and/or experience combined
Strong business sense, professionalism, and success producing results in a constantly changing environment
Program Management experience
Aptitude and discipline to follow strict processes, complete time-sensitive processes and adhere to employment regulations
A high level of confidentiality and integrity in managing sensitive employee data
Superior written and verbal communication along with interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Strong follow-through and outstanding customer service skills
Ability to travel when necessary (Less than 10%)
Prior work experience with Employee onboarding, pre-onboarding and program management
Experience supporting organization-wide and global initiatives
Knowledge of SharePoint, Excel, Workday, E-Verify
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
