At Honda, our associates take pride in their responsibilities. A typical day for a Human Resource Specialist will include:
– Acting as subject matter expert in Human Resource initiatives, including performance management, organizational structure, and succession planning
– Supporting associates with overall policy management, including revisions, communication, and interpretation
– Partnering with production and support departments regarding implementation and reporting of business plan themes or initiatives that create associate impacts
– Collecting and analyzing Human Resource data to identify trends and establish action plans to execute the company vision
– Communicating company initiatives and projects to associates and management at every level
Providing support and resources to drive the development of current and future members of the Honda leadership team
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, management, psychology, or other related fields
– Six (6) years of equivalent, related job experience
– Working knowledge of Kronos, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PeopleSoft
– Good analytical and presentation skills
– Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
– Strong project management skills
– Excellent customer service
