Position Summary
Horizon’s Talent Management Team/ Human Resources team has a new opening for an outstanding customer service and human resources professional, who can lead the way for the front office administrative support team in demonstrating excellent and caring customer service to clients and internal team members alike. The primary purpose of this position is to provide office and administrative support for the Talent Management Department. Primary areas of responsibility include records management, front office coverage and general office administrative support. In addition, the employee provides administrative support to the TM Director and leadership for other members of the Talent Management administrative support team. This position supervises 2 administrative assistants in a front office environment.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma / GED required. Prefer associate’s degree in business or office administration or two years of business administration coursework.
Two years of office administrative support experience, including at least one year of previous HR experience, with employee records management, report preparation and excel expertise or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Supervisory experience is preferred.

Knowledge of Library of Virginia records retention and disposition schedules for Personnel records; Knowledge of federal and state regulations and compliance standards relevant to employees, including I-9s, background checks, TB tests, and records management; Ability to organize and manage hard copy and electronic personnel and human resources related records for easy retrieval of files, and data and to ensure confidentiality, as well as compliance with pertinent regulations; Ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive information, always maintaining the confidentiality of records and information; Ability to audit records to ensure compliance with all pertinent federal, state and licensing regulations and guidelines; Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel; Ability to design and work with memos, letters/letterhead, charts, tables, graphs, spreadsheets, etc.; Excellent spelling and grammar knowledge with ability to accurately and efficiently proofread and correct correspondence and documents; Superior organizational and time management skills and dedication to completing assignments in a timely manner
Ability to drive and must possess a valid driver’s license. May be required to travel to different Horizon work sites during the day based on operational needs or provide admin support at other locations. Regular attendance at training and Horizon meetings may require travel to a variety of Horizon sites; Willing and available to work modified schedules (weekends, holidays, etc.) as required.
