About The Role
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our human resources dream team and be part of taking talent acquisition to the next level. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at The Howard Hughes Corporation, you should have a passion for candidate experience and driving talent to HHC through an innovative recruitment marketing approach. This associate will provide hands-on support in onboarding, applicant tracking system administration, and employment brand initiatives. This role is critical to executing company initiatives, creating a positive experience for our candidates and associates while driving HR & Talent Acquisition functional excellence.
What You Will Do
Identify, attract and select outstanding talent for The Howard Hughes Corporation.
Partner with the VP, Talent Acquisition to support the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers by sourcing and identifying targeted pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
Maintain a keen sense of urgency and consistency in screening resumes, assessing qualifications, recognizing culture fit, conducting phone screens, video/onsite interviews, references and background checks, and onboarding.
Schedule candidate interviews, travel (if applicable), and logistics in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure the mission, vision and culture of HHC is showcased and elevated through candidate experience and across channels that align with HHC objectives and strategies.
Explore best practices in utilizing creative marketing and sourcing strategies to attract high quality active and passive candidates.
Partner with Internal Brand team to develop, recommend, and implement strategic initiatives using marketing, social media, third-party and internal platforms to expand recruiting pools for more diverse candidates.
Assist HR team in the identification of job description improvements, job requisition templates, job posting requirements, and other talent acquisition compliance matters.
Continually optimize metrics and Applicant Tracking System to create a more efficient and effective hiring process.
Identify opportunities to create recruiting efficiencies across the organizations when possible.
About You
Bachelor’s Degree.
2-4 years experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role.
Ability to creatively source talent utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Applicant Tracking Software, Boolean search logic, associations, social media, and internet searches.
Experience in building, cultivating, and sustaining networks of qualified, passive candidates and creating mechanisms to effectively manage a candidate pool.
Ability to interact with a range of personalities to establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems; experience with Workday a plus.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Excellent project management, written and oral communication skills
Self-starter and ability to work with little supervision.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to share information and documents that aid business leaders to effectively manage their respective businesses.
Ability to prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet deadlines in a fast paced and growth-oriented environment.
Exercise sound judgment when making decisions.
Good problem solver/creative thinker.
