Purpose
~ Oversee and manage the Incentive operations function at HMA, including the execution of dealer incentive programs rules, announcements, Dealer coupon claiming and daily operations of the incentive department.
Major Responsibilities
~ Gather input and recommendations from National Sales and HMA Regional Offices on future incentive programs.
~ Develop dealer communications of planned incentive offers.
~ Input, verification of payment of dealer incentives.
~ Validate monthly HMF subvention retail and lease programs and authorize payment to HMF.
~ Perform monthly audits on HMA’s STAR salesperson/sales manager payouts.
~ Manage a staff, effectively coach, counsel, and develop staff. Utilize the diverse talents of the staff by efficiently managing staff’s time, materials and budget while focusing on the goals and vision of the company.
~ Support ad hoc requests from HMC and various departments.
~ Manage the Incentives staff and temporary labor associated with incentive department activities.
~ Work with other HMA divisions to ensure the timely and accurate communication of incentives information (Finance, Marketing, Sales, HMF).
Authority
~ Manage Hyundai Circle resources (including 1 full-time employee and 1 contractor).
~ Approve incentive adjustments and exceptions of Hyundai Circle program.
~ Responsible for all aspects of program communications and messaging to internal and external parties (HMA, HMMA employees, HCA employees, and Hyundai Dealers).
~ Push websites live.
~ Approve temporary personnel timecards.
~ Override and approve incentives adjustments.
~ Approve employees and temporary personnel time off.
~ Approve weekly incentive Dealer payments.
~ Approve monthly HMF invoice.
Education
~ Must be a high school graduate.
~ Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Related Experience
~ Four to eight years of experience of which at least two years of directly related experience in automotive/automotive-related with focus on quantitative and competitive analyses.
~ Two to three years of supervisory experience desired.
~ Experienced in managing large financial budgets.
~ Excellent operations management skills, with working knowledge of C&I activities a plus.
Skill/Knowledge
~ Experienced in managing teams to work well under pressure and complete tasks in a fast paced environment.
~ Good communication skills, with the ability to structure presentations for senior management.
~ Good analytical skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
