IAMAW Hiring for Full Stack Microsoft .Net Web Forms Developer at Upper Marlboro, MD Full Time

IAMAW is looking for a full-stack developer with solid experience writing web applications on the Microsoft .NET platform. The position will entail enhancing existing web-based applications as well as designing and creating new web applications. The ideal candidate will be a creative and skilled coder with extensive ASP.NET Web Forms experience with a proven track record of delivering complex and robust applications. The ability to multi-task is a must.

Preferred applicants will have strong communication skills. The ability to quickly understand requirements and articulate solutions to stakeholders and peers is as important as the ability to deliver those solutions once approved. Candidate is responsible for producing results with emphasis on maintaining performance, scalability, caching, security, state management, logging and testing. The essential skills for this position are C#, ASP.NET Web Forms and SQL Server.

Requirements:

• The ability to design and write web applications using both standard web (HTML/CSS/JavaScript +jQuery) and Microsoft technologies including .NET, C#, WinForms, Web Forms, ADO.NET, EF 6.+.
• Implement all aspects of application design for scalable high-performance applications including server-side coding, client-side UI design and scripting, security, state management, logging, debugging, development environment configuration, and testing.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server including T-SQL programming and solid database design and management skills.
• Must be capable of working on projects solo as a full-stack developer.

Additional Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree or related discipline or equivalent experience
• 3+ years web development experience
• 3+ years of experience with implementation of medium-to-large enterprise applications
• 3+ years in C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET Web Forms, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, Visual Studio
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server

Preferred Applicants Will Have:

• Experience in design and development of user interfaces for Web Forms applications. Windows Forms experience is a plus but not required
• Proven track record of designing scalable, distributed software applications.
• Object-oriented design experience
