Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with leaders of people and human resources team to execute performance development system.
Lead execution of employee engagement survey and help support follow up action items.
Play leading role executing overall diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy.
Will assist with employee relations matters in the context of the ifm philosophy and values which might periodically mean attending and participating in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Will assist leading mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, and professional certifications.
Will periodically assist with recruiting, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Encourage and develop employees as talent brand ambassadors.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
3+ years of HR Generalist experience required.
SHRM-CP a plus.
Strong customer service mindset with strong consultative and coaching skills using empathy, logic, and business acumen.
Project management skills including change management techniques.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner.
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
Demonstrated experience with HR metrics and knowledge of HR systems and databases.
Strong PC skills and MS Office skills.
