Ignite is currently seeking a driven, detail-oriented Government Property Reporting Specialist supporting Boeing’s International Space Station Program in Houston, TX. This position is a full time position within a long-term contract and is expected to be 100% onsite in the Clear Lake area.
The Government Property Reporting Specialist manages property inventory, files property reports and supports the receiving and transfers of property within the ISS Program.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with administering the terms of contract provisions that specify the company’s obligations to acquire, control, use, care for, report and dispose of property
Reconcile and validate property transactions and analyze data discrepancies between financial reporting periods
Monitor and track the movement of property throughout the life cycle to capture changes in ownership, accountability or location
Document hardware property movement and update records, this includes hardware moving on or off contract
Maintain and submit financial reporting data for on-orbit property
Verifies that property records accurately reflect inventory
Conduct reconciliation and validation of property transactions in the Property Management Asset Reporting System (PMARS), including the following activities:
Analyze data discrepancies between PMARS, assets systems, and logistics systems, then present solutions
Provide necessary coordination of solutions for data discrepancies between accounting personnel, procurement, and logistics, as well as suppliers

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required, with a minimum of 0-5 years of relevant experience. Experience in Government or Capital Property is a plus. Specific experience associated with the space industry or International Space Station is not required.
NPMA – Certifications – CPPS / CPPA is desirable and knowledge of NASA FAR 52.245-1 and NASA FAR Supplement 1852.245
