Imperial Dade is looking to add a talented Software Developer to our IT team. The position will be Remote, however, requires ability to visit our Jersey City headquarters as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the business and development team members to solve problems and provide new functionality to our customers.
- Contribute to the design and development of various application development projects.
- Apply good coding practices to ensure our codebase is readable, secure, and scalable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred but not required) in Computer Science or Engineering
- 3-5 years of hands-on development with NodeJS, React, Angular or similar JS Framework
- Knowledge of good UX/UI design principles
- Experienced with development of Web Applications
- Knowledge of CSS tools such as Sass, JSS, etc. a plus
- Experience working with SQL databases and data models
- Experience with no-SQL databases such as MongoDb, DynamoDb, etc. is a plus
- Experience implementing and working with RESTful services
- Knowledge of AWS Gateway, Lambda, etc. is a plus
- Ability to clearly document code and write requirements for other technologists as needed
- Strong understanding of Git or similar source control tool
- Excellent communication skills
