The Job

A good analogy for this position is “utility infielder.” You will not be assigned to client work for long periods, but rather be the point person on internal company projects. And occasionally flex to help another client-facing team. A solid understanding of HTML/JS/CSS is required. As our customers use a variety of frameworks (not all of which were built by us), a familiarity with the various front-end frameworks of the world is considered a big plus. Weekly responsibilities may include sales support, customer prototyping, supporting a production team on a bug, R&D, supporting open-source efforts sponsored by Incyte.

The right candidates for this job are more interested in shipping good product than debating dogma about languages. If you’re more into talking about the right amount of test coverage than shipping something, this probably isn’t the right fit.
