The Business Operations Manager (BOM) (note: this position is an L4/Senior Manager level) is a key role within the Transformation and Operations team in the International Business Unit. This key role will be supporting the Transformation and Operations Leader with a focus on key international markets and providing operational rigor and support with strategy development, organizational development, communications, collaboration and ad-hoc strategies.
As the BOM you will support cross-functional special project teams (working with Product Management, Finance, Engineering, Marketing, Sales) to identify and evaluate strategic priorities and/or strategic problems, to accelerate action against priorities through strategic business planning and performance management. The BOM must possess strong communication and problem solving skills, be a natural consensus builder, act as a proxy for the leaders when needed.
What you will do:
- Annual business planning – be responsible for working with VP of IBU and key senior leaders to drive yearly OKRs, headcount plans, and investment requests
- Manage the resource portfolio (by function) across IBU and track headcount requests
- Facilitates conversations, drives alignments and build support with cross-functional leadership teams.
- Drive strategic planning process, including development of short -term Strategic Plans and Quarterly and Monthly Executive Business Review cycles
- Drive data gathering to help IBU make informed decisions through data which will include building new dashboards and reporting to help accelerate activities for the Business Relations Managers, country teams and the broader organization.
- Design and implement business operational systems and processes that help IBU scale while developing an operational cadence for the team at large.
- Collaborate with the communications team to build integrated strategic plans, scorecards and business solutions through high-impact, executive level presentation.
- Support the global operations of IBU to include but not limited to; Quarterly All-Hands, Monthly newsletters, Quarterly SLT offsites, employee engagement, and revenue operations management.
- Support bi-annual performance management calibration exercise and drive the process
- Provide recommendations on organizational design and execute change management.
- Frequent communication with our Japan offices. Ideal time zone would be PST.
Who You Are
- You have 5+ years of business operations, strategy, consulting, product management or equivalent in a large company
- You have a Bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus
- You have executed autonomously and lead complex initiatives with minimal oversight or direction
- You have high proficiency at synthesizing complex information, storytelling, and cascading communications based on the audience
- You have demonstrated the ability to be a Self-starter with an ability to operate effectively in the presence of ambiguity
- You have strong analytical skills and with logical reasoning

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees.
