Our Learning and Development Finance team ensures that Indeed complies with the highest standards of business, law and ethics, while providing Indeed’s clients with excellent customer service and Indeed’s management with the information and guidance required to succeed around the world.
Your job.
Within Finance, Learning & Development, we work with our clients to understand their developmental needs and connect them with resources and content that will allow them to learn and grow their skill set. This role will support all roles and functions on the Finance team, with career development and training from day one. Additionally, we support other teams who may also benefit from understanding these concepts.
As the Specialist, Learning & Development – Finance, you must be able to partner well with internal support teams and key business partners. You will assist in supporting new strategies and continued improvements of Finance’s training programs to ensure we’re delivering a world-class learning & development curriculum and experience to the Finance team.
You will assist the team to ensure that content design is rooted in adult learning theory and analyze the effectiveness of our learning programs, facilitation, program management, and relationship management.
A successful candidate is a highly collaborative, team player who can implement pragmatic solutions that drive the learning agenda forward. You will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable with ambiguity, be able work independently and prioritize tasks, coordinate projects between various departments, and provide support as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain content (training materials, resources, e-learning etc.) related to systems used by Finance.
Collaborate with Sr. Specialists and Strategists on the team to continually develop and evolve program offerings.
Align understanding and prioritize needs of Finance teams through shadowing, observing workflows, calls, demos and meetings, consistently.
Grow and maintain your knowledge of the systems and processes Finance uses on a regular basis.
Partner with internal stakeholders to align onboarding training focus for respective segment.
Conduct in person and virtual trainings as needed or deliver train-the-trainer sessions for facilitation teams as necessary.
Assist with execution of special projects as needed.
Who You Are
Requirements:
2+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Available to travel (domestic and international) based on business need, as needed (when deemed safe by Indeed).
Experience successfully navigating a fast-paced, highly ambiguous start-up environment.
Strong attention to detail, time management and proven ability to shift prioritization when needed to meet tight deadlines.
Experience using Google Suite.
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to partner with various teams, gain buy-in and influence without authority.
Ability to take initiative, work under pressure, organize and prioritize responsibilities.
A creative, open-minded point of view towards learning, training, development, and processes.
Preferred System Qualifications:
Familiarity with screen sharing programs (Zoom, WebEx)
Experience with an online CRM
Competency in image and video creation tools (Canva, Camtasia, or others) is a plus

Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

US Remote 54,000 – 67,000 USD per year
