Indiana University School of Medicine is a national leader in medical research and education. The Department of Mental Health Services promotes psychological health, well-being, and success for all Indiana University School of Medicine learners and trainees (medical and graduate students, residents and fellows) across the state of Indiana. We deliver professional and comprehensive counseling and psychiatric services, crisis intervention, programming, consultation services, and outreach, as well as support the broader School of Medicine community and foster an environment where learners can thrive. We serve a diverse learner population of approximately 3400 trainees statewide. DMHS is invested in providing care that is inclusive and culturally informed. We work collaboratively in the provision of mental health services, outreach, and liaison work, and work actively on the continuous improvement of our work with a commitment to adherence to best practices.

Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires sedentary work as well as extended durations of moving about the workplace. It requires the ability to move objects and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds, and the ability to discern between various objects and devices and to position patients. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
Work Location
Indianapolis, Indiana
This position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule (mix between remote and in-person work), subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs.
