Indigov is a constituent relationship management suite for the modern representative. Our platform reduces average response times from weeks to minutes for 90% of incoming messages. After going through an exhaustive technical and legal review process with the House of Representatives, we recently closed our Series A and are live in hundreds of offices across federal, state, and local governments. We are expanding rapidly and need additional team members to join us in our pursuit to build the future of representative democracy.

Indigov is looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. If you love working in a fast-paced environment, are passionate about employee and candidate experience, and can partner with stakeholders across the organization, this might be a great role for you!
Our mission on the People Ops team is to cultivate the user experience of working at Indigov throughout the entire employee lifecycle, unlocking team potential and velocity to meet the needs of our customers. This role will play an essential role in the employee lifecycle, interacting with candidates during the recruitment cycle, employees during their many employment milestones, and throughout the off-boarding experience. You’ll be an essential part of the organization, helping employees navigate HR questions, working on rewards and benefits, partnering on employee programming, and more!
Please note – in addition to the People Operations responsibilities, this role with heavily assist with hiring process – we are a scaling team, so we anticipate about ~50% of this role’s time to be spent on recruiting
What You’ll Do
Support all core People processes including but not limited to: onboarding, off-boarding, leaves of absence, relocations, performance review process, employment verifications, and more.
Serve as a go-to person for all Indigov employees when it comes to day-to-day People inquiries, including questions regarding benefits, 401(k), Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, and company policies.
Contribute to an inclusive culture where all employees feel they belong by providing administrative and operational support on engagement and recognition initiatives, company-wide events, learning and development programs, and more.
Continually look for improvements to enhance a remote and distributed working environment and ensure a best in class remote work experience for our team.
Assist with creating and growing our Indigov Employer Brand – help position Indigov as a top place to work through outreach to partner organizations, event sponsorship and participation, improving employer profiles on LinkedIn, Twitter, Glassdoor, BuiltIn, etc.
Manage Employee Referral program, and develop ways to incentivize internal referrals.
Collaborate with recruiter and hiring managers to source for candidates who would be a great fit for the Indigov
Source, screen and provide candidate feedback to hiring managers
Schedule interviews and manage the interview process
Provide an excellent candidate experience by keeping candidates informed throughout the hiring process
What You’ll Need to be Successful
You have some professional work experience (either internships or full-time employment) in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
You have some demonstrated People Operations (Human Resources) experience, interest, and knowledge and want to continue to learn, grow, and contribute to the function.
You are extremely detail oriented and able to juggle different tasks while ensuring they are completed in a timely manner without errors.
You are resourceful and adaptable, and thrive in environments with ambiguity.
You are able to quickly digest a new process, execute against it, and identify opportunities to make improvements.
You are hard-working and feel a strong sense of ownership over your work.
You have a low ego and roll-up-your-sleeves mindset, and are eager to contribute to a small, agile team.
You are a strong and clear communicator, both verbally and in writing.
