Infiniti of Birmingham is now hiring experienced Automotive Technicians. We are part of the Dream Motor Group currently with 5 luxury franchised dealerships and growing.
We are looking for experienced automotive technicians preferably with Nissan or Infiniti background and training, but are willing to train the right technicians from other brands. Flexible schedule– Day or Night shifts available!!
Responsibilities:
- Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
- Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnoses maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
- Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Performs repairs and maintenance to manufacturer guidelines.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience required as a technician, preferably with Nissan or Infiniti, but not required
- Basic Computer skills
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Team player
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
