Job Duties:
Update HRIS (ADP Workforce) database records and process paperwork for new hire’s, terminations, and other status changes.
Provide general administrative, technical, and organizational support to the Human Resources Department.
Create, format, edit, copy, and scan documents and data as needed.
Professionally answer and place telephone calls; take accurate and complete messages and direct inquires appropriately.
Assist the Managing Director of Human Resources and the Human Resources Manager in managing their calendar, scheduling conference calls/meetings.
Assist the Human Resource Manager in coordinating necessary employee criminal background checks, candidate interview scheduling.
Update and maintain all new hire on-boarding materials.
Create employee I.D.s
Assists with various Human Resources Department audits.
Generate correspondence for review and approval by the Managing Director of Human Resources and/or Human Resources Manager.
Provides back-up to the HR Staffing Coordinator.
Responsible for Human Resource office supply ordering.
Maintain kitchen area and conference room clean and organized.
Qualifications:
BA Degree and/or 1-2 years of HR administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ability to follow up and complete all assigned tasks independently, proven problem-solving skills
Must be able to multi-task by accepting and prioritizing numerous internal/external requests
Must demonstrate consistent initiative, leadership, and collaborative skills to succeeded and work in a team environment
Understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures a plus but not required
Previous experience with a benefit and/or payroll HRIS system is a plus (ADP Workforce preferred)
Enthusiastic, responsible, and able to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
Sensitivity to diverse and multicultural work environment
