ITP provides a comprehensive suite of managed technology services to its clients in the manufacturing, distribution, retail, nonprofit and health fields throughout the United States and internationally.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for completing many of the daily administrative duties within our Human Resources department. Our company is growing, and this creates a level of activity and opportunity within this important work team. The successful candidate’s contribution to our company’s overall success will be significant and visible on a daily basis. The HR Manager reports to the owners of the Company, at the Burbank, CA headquarters and has one direct report.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for performing or managing all Human Resources functions. These shall include, but not be limited to:
1. Recruiting: The HR Manager shall manage the sourcing, advertising, interviewing and coordination of all recruiting activities. Each job will need a requisition from, the data will come from meeting with staff or management. They shall also ensure that policies regarding equal employment opportunity, Americans with Disability accommodations, diversity and inclusion are being followed. They shall create and/or update job descriptions. They shall also conduct market surveys to determine proper salary ranges for open positions. Tech is a competitive industry and knowing what is happening in the market and staying up to date with current conditions and trends will be important. The HR Manager will create a marketing budget for recruiting and adjust vendor relationships when necessary to ensure we are reaching and attracting a quality candidate pool.
2. On-boarding: The HR Manager shall present offers to candidates approved by appropriate Executives. The offer process shall include all appropriate paperwork to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies. They shall also ensure background checks are completed and passed prior to a start date. HR Manager will also conduct New Hire Orientation and ensure all data is collected and input for payroll and the HRIS system.
3. Benefits Administration: The HR Manager will work with the Vice President of Administration during the annual health insurance renewal and coordinate the Annual Open Enrollment process. They shall also administer mid-year enrollments, terminations and changes to individual employee’s plans. They shall also act as Administrator for the 401k plan.
4. Time-off Management: The HR Manager shall ensure that time off policies are correctly assigned to individual employees. They shall also assist in any audits of attendance to ensure time off is properly recorded. They will also be involved in the approval process and manage government-sponsored leaves of absence.
5. Training/Education: The HR Manager shall ensure that necessary training for legal compliance (Sexual Harassment, HIPAA, etc.) is conducted in a timely fashion.
6. Employee Relations: The HR Manager will act as a guide to management and a counselor to employees in any disputes, complaints and disciplinary actions. They shall also avail themselves of legal resources as necessary. Maintaining close professional relationships is important to ensure staff feel comfortable coming to HR for problems.
7. Compliance: The HR Manager will ensure that the Employee Handbook and all policies are compliant to California, Los Angeles County and various other states where ITP has employees, in addition to federal laws as required, and shall update annually and as needed when laws change. They shall also respond to government requests for information. They shall also ensure employees are updated as policies change. They shall also be responsible for ensuring all required legal postings are prominently displayed.
8. Safety: The HR Manager shall ensure employees are aware of any safety regulations/issues and shall coordinate reports of injuries and Workers Compensation claims.
9. Recordkeeping: The HR Manager shall ensure the accurate maintenance and retention of all employee records, personnel files, HRIS data, payroll, attendance records and other information as required by law and company policy.
10. Payroll: While payroll is an Accounting function, the HR Manager will ensure that pay rates, overtime pay, benefits deductions, paid time off and certain expense reimbursements are entered appropriately and will act as check and balance with the payroll department.
11. Other Functions: As no list can anticipate all circumstances, the HR Manager may be assigned other HR-related duties as it becomes necessary.

The range for this position is $70,000 – $85,000
