This role is responsible for the design, delivery, and sustainment of global leadership, management capability, business acumen and job skill learning experiences that impact all Ingevity employees. This role assures learning programs are aligned to deliver the skills and capabilities most needed to drive business success and enable the Ingeviway culture. This role also holds shared accountability for organization-wide change management, team development, new manager assimilations and M&A change management.
How you will impact Ingevity:
Create the vision for delivering innovative, high-quality learning solutions that enable strong leadership and build capability across corporate and global plant locations
Partner with HR business partners, business leaders, and our executive team to conduct needs assessments and develop sustainable learning journeys that help business units and functions to achieve their strategic goals
Develop and deploy numerous concurrent high-visibility learning programs that demonstrably improve our leaders’ abilities to build high-performing teams and drive results; example programs include:
Leadership development programs supporting the needs of all leaders
Define and measure success metrics to assess short- and long-term effectiveness of global learning programs
Stay aligned with Ingevity’s Talent Acquisition and Global Engagement & Talent Management teams to ensure a globally consistent message and cohesive approach
Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in adult learning methods; implement solutions to ensure Ingevity learning remains relevant
Determine the balance between internal and external training resources and manage any external vendor relationships accordingly
Lead development planning and coach development of senior and emerging leaders.
Design and execute a 360-assessment process as needed for coaching and leadership programs
Evaluate use of Coaching groups for new managers and more seasoned managers. Offer globally.
Evaluate manager selection assessments for accuracy and defensibility
Work with the GTML team to determine processes for offerings (example: Insights, CliftonStrenghts & Manager Assimilations)
Designs and facilitates sustainment activities for Learning and Talent programs.
Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention
Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.)
May act as a training instructor or present information for assigned training courses or program delivery
What you need to succeed:
10+ years of HR or consulting experience within Learning and Development
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, organizational management or related field
Master’s degree in human resources, Industrial and organizational psychology or business is preferred
Workday experience preferred
