Our Talent Acquisition Team are brand ambassadors attracting top talent to Ingevity. We are searching for a dynamic and imaginative Senior Recruiter who is strategically focused on driving business results with an aggressive desire for excellence. How you will impact Ingevity:
In partnership with the Director of Talent Acquisition this role focuses on the growth and development of TA team members.
Responsible for the day to day delegation of requisitions and helps TA team members overcome obstacles and navigate the process.
Will collaborate with business leaders to deliver strategic support of business growth through workforce planning, position profiling, sourcing strategies, and consulting on selection & fit.
Works with HR Business Partners to identify internal talent through internal slates and assess qualifications against business needs and available external talent.
Ensures presentation of diverse candidate slates for consideration and identifies strategic approaches for sourcing diverse talent of all backgrounds.
Effectively markets Ingevity to candidates by providing compelling information about the company’s strategy, capabilities, performance, locations and employment value proposition.
Responsible for creating a positive customer experience through successful management of the interview and selection process.
Assists in the development and facilitation of behavioral interview training for employees and hiring managers across all site locations annually.
Maintains networking relationships with local and national organizations (HR and Talent Management) to stay abreast of the latest industry news pertaining to Talent Acquisition.
Performs research and develops target lists of industry related companies for all business units and geographic locations to aid in proactive sourcing efforts.
Demonstrates working knowledge of employment laws and other applicable regulations.
Ongoing identification and benchmarking of improvement opportunities for the talent acquisition process to align to business strategy and priorities.
In partnership with the Global Mobility Manager, this role will lead the immigration process for Talent Acquisition which may include; working visas, green cards, expat assignments, etc.
What you need to succeed:
BA or BS degree in business, HR, or related field, or equivalent recruiting experience
7 plus years of Recruiting experience, with at least 3 years of corporate recruitment and a focus on sourcing passive candidates
Demonstrated experience recruiting within IT, Finance and Sales functions ranging from early career to highly experienced candidates
Strong interviewing skills and demonstrated mastery of behavioral interviewing
Proven experience and passion around developing and implementing diversity recruiting strategies
Must possess strong business acumen and the ability to develop a deep understanding of strategic business priorities, success drivers in the organization, and understanding of the business model and functional operations
Strong process orientation and detailed analytic capabilities
Ability to influence and interact with all levels of employees to establish and develop collaborative partnerships
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System and providing ideas for process optimization
Proven project management capabilities
This position can be a remote based role or eligible for relocation assistance to Charleston, SC
