Job Description

The Account Maintenance Specialist position is responsible for the maintenance of Inland Private Capital Corporation’s (IPC) investor account records. This position will primarily focus on all investment matters pertaining to establishing new accounts, administering the monthly distribution process and provide the information necessary to facilitate account updates and changes, including transfers of account ownership. The goal of this position is to respond to customers in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.*This role may work a hybrid schedule: Two days in the office, 3 days from home.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrates highest standards of personal and professional integrity, adheres to company’s policies and procedures, and complies with applicable laws, government rules and regulations.
• Assists investors, financial professionals, broker dealers and custodians via telephone and/or email with account issues, questions, updates and corrections; sends required forms/communications as necessary.
• Updates and maintains investor account records.
• Extracts information and generates reports from investment management system.
• Processes distributions and transfers of ownership.
• Processes stop payments and re-issues outstanding checks and lost distribution checks.
• Assists internal staff members with questions about investor records, ownership and general updates and/or provides documentation and information required for sale, refinance, or ownership conversion.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education:

• This position requires a high school diploma, GED or equivalent professional knowledge and/or work experience.

Experience:

• This position requires over 1 year of prior general office experience, preferably with previous data entry and customer service skills in the financial services industry.

Skills:

• Keyboarding skills are required for this position.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are required for this position.
