THE POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Managing Principal and the Executive Team, this role involves helping, advising, and guiding Directors in oversight related to human resources, payroll, and general business operations. The responsibilities encompass various aspects of human resources and payroll operations, such as benefits and 401(K) administration, vendor-sourcing, budget maintenance/creation, employee life cycle management, employee relations, training and development, performance management, full cycle recruitment/talent acquisition, policy creation, implementation, and management, HRIS configurations, and employment law compliance. Additionally, the role requires staying current of new regulations, maintaining strict confidentiality, and collaborating closely with the Compliance Department for healthcare compliance.
As a significant resource pillar, the position also involves providing support to directors in basic timecard/payroll assistance and/or employee operations upon request. This position will serve as a point of contact for employees seeking information on company policies and procedures and/or any other troubleshooting needs. The ideal candidate for this position should be company-centric, self-sufficient, and proactive. They should align with the strategic short- and long-term goals of the organization, ensuring efficient and smooth operations while striking a balance between the company’s interests and those of its employees.

Hybrid: Remote and In-Office per company policies.
Intermediate/Experienced Level

Salary: $25 – $36.50 / hour, depending on experience, skills, knowledge, and other abilities/characteristics.

THE REQUIREMENTS.
Trustworthy, self-sufficient, innovative, entrepreneurial mindset, and proactive person who will get things done with minimal supervision.
Knowledge and ability to write, create, maintain policies and procedures, and create processes needed to uphold efficiency, productivity, and performance.
Ability to audit and fix any gaps/KPIs and/or compliance pertaining to HR, Payroll, and Benefits, including 401(k).
Experience in handling and calculating NDTs for FSA and 401(K).
Experience in reading and advising the Executives on vendor contracts, while keeping in mind of budget and improvements.
Ability to have a friendly, yet professional, disposition when interacting with employees.
Extremely strong verbal and written communication, and experience in writing company memos/announcements.
Very basic graphics skills to create company event flyers/notices.
Maintain federal, state, and local compliance regulations and laws.
Empathetic and understanding when dealing with employee concerns, grievances, and issues.
Ability to maintain and improve current work culture, rewards, and total compensations to support the Company’s new era of growth and stability.
Ability to work inter-departmentally and troubleshoot and issues employees may have.
Ability to screen and do initial interviews and be able to recommend candidates to Directors.
Cultural sensitivity and understanding is needed to work at this company.
Extremely Proficient with computers, technology, software/databases, and other IT needs.
Extremely proficient in multi-tasking and project prioritization.
3 – 5 years of experience in Human Resources and Payroll Operations with basic understanding in general business operations.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Forms, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Outlook.

+Can speak Vietnamese, but not required.
+Experience or familiarity in MSO, IPA, or Health Plan environment and operations.
+Experience with small, mid-, and large employers.
+SHRM-CP/PHR certifications.
+Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, and/or equivalent experience in position/industry.
