Position Purpose: The Benefits Specialist is responsible for supporting corporate wide benefit US programs.
Principle Accountabilities
1. Field benefit related questions from employees and HR group.
2. Assist with 401(k) Plan testing and audits.
3. Monitor delinquent 401(k) loans and file discrepancy errors.
4. Resolve 401(k) uncashed check issues.
5. Locate and update 401(k) participant addresses as needed.
6. Assist HR Group with LTD and Group Life claims and Medical Support Orders as needed.
7. Resolve health plan and COBRA file discrepancies.
8. Assist with annual enrollment HRIS set-up and testing.
9. Support HR group and employees with annual enrollment questions and technical issues.
10. Assist with distribution of benefit related documents.
11. Support benefits related integration efforts with potential US acquisitions and new facilities.
12. Related tasks as requested by supervisor
