Interwell Health is looking to add a Benefits Analyst to the People Ops team. This position is responsible for administering and communicating Interwell’s benefit plans effectively and efficiently. This role has a direct impact on our employees’ experience at Interwell Health by providing expertise on and assistance navigating through our benefit offerings.
What you will do
Using in-depth knowledge of Interwell benefits: administer benefit programs, respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, and complete monthly reconciliation and processing of benefit carrier invoices timely and accurately.
Assisting the administration of Leave of Absence (LOA) by having thorough knowledge of Interwell LOA policies, processes, and systems. Communicate with employees while on a LOA to ensure employees’ adherence to benefit contributions. Audit monthly benefit premiums for employees on LOA.
Provide employees with information throughout the employee lifecycle, from new hire benefit presentations and profile setup to administering COBRA benefits for offboarded employees.
Manage all informational benefit pages on the Interwell intranet. Creates response templates and FAQ’s to assist in employee queries.
Support Open Enrollment planning and execution.
What you need
Minimum 3 years of focused benefits or leave of absence administration experience with a emphasis on benefit and LOA end to end processing.
Must be an advanced user in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
Ability to read, analyze and interpret employee benefit documents.
Ability to respond verbally and in writing to general inquiries or complaints from internal and external stakeholders of all levels, including executives, managers, employees, COBRA participants, People Team members, and consultants.
Experience utilizing Paylocity is a plus
