Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President of Philanthropy will lead ioby’s fundraising efforts in close collaboration with the CEO and the development team (currently three other staff) to meet annual revenue goals (currently ~$3 million for operating budget and ~$1 million for match funding to support local projects) and to increase revenue over the coming years to support the organization’s plans to sustainably scale its impact. The ideal candidate believes in the power of local grassroots action to make positive change and has a demonstrated commitment to racial equity and social change.

This is a full-time, fully remote position with a preference to be based in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, or Washington, DC. Other locations in the United States will be considered. There is a requirement to work Eastern time zone hours. This job may require occasional work outside of ioby’s regular business hours (9am–6pm Eastern; Monday through Friday).

Benefits
This is a full-time position with a salary range (Grade 8) based on location: $100,000 – $110,000 (Region 1, includes New York, Boston, and Washington, DC); $85,000 – $93,500 (Region 2, includes Philadelphia), or $75,000 – $82,500 (Region 3).
Total compensation includes a generous benefits package with access to medical, dental, and vision insurance (ioby currently contributes up to $13,000 of medical premiums and 100% of the cost for the employee-only premium for vision and dental plans); 27 vacation days (with an additional 3 days per year after 5 years); 9 organizational holidays; 2 floating holidays; 5 civic duty days; sick leave; eligibility for a sabbatical after 5 years; 401k (with potential employer match); and an attractive “Whole Person” approach.
