Revenue Accountant

Integrated Practice Solutions (dba ChiroTouch) is a leading healthcare software company looking for a Revenue Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of revenue recognition including month-end recording and reconciliation or revenue-related accounts. You will have extensive experience working in the SaaS industry and managing high-volume billing systems.

You’ll support the Controller by ensuring that our Zuora/RevPro billing and revenue recognition system performs at a high level. Additionally, you will continuously review our established internal controls for improvements or changes as need in a rapidly changing environment. Your understanding of the quote-to-cash process will be a huge plus as you work cross-functionally with Sales, Deal Desk, IT and other functional areas to resolve challenges and propose solutions that benefit both our internal and external customers. Responsibilities

• Ensure revenue recognition is in accordance with company policies and ASC 606
• Perform revenue analyses and prepare revenue recognition journal entries for month-end close
• Maintain and update internal controls and process documentation
• Review client contracts to ensure compliance with our revenue recognition policies
• Support all aspects of the Order-to-Cash process to include identifying and assisting with the implementation of process improvements and automation
• Research and resolve revenue discrepancies and provide monthly trend analyses to explain changes in monthly revenue at the product level
• Assist in the preparation of technical accounting memos related to revenue recognition
• Provide documentation and support as part of our annual external audit
• Participate in special projects and analysis, as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required (MBA or CPA preferred)
• Five years of revenue accounting experience in the SaaS industry with a strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606
• Experience with Salesforce and Zuora/RevPro or a similar CRM and billing management system
• NetSuite or similar software experience preferred
• Experience in a high growth, fast-paced small company or mid-size company preferred
• Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivots, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)
• Acquisitions experience a plus
• Comfortable performing ad-hoc research and analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and work in a team-oriented environment
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $1.00 per hour
