Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Partner with employees and management in support of our Human Resources policies and procedures.
Use and demonstrate the expertise in the HRIS system which requires a high level of technical ability and confidence.
Manage employee data using the Oracle HRIS, from New Hire to Exit.
Support benefits administration including enrollment, communicating benefit information to employees, invoice audit, etc.
Support our performance management program.
Create and update job descriptions.
Coach and mentor other team members, as well as work closely with senior HR management to address departmental needs and projects.
Complete employment verifications and unemployment claims in a timely manner.
Manage the Reward & Recognition Program for Managers and their employees.
Support special employee events and activities, including Health and Wellness programs.
Perform other Human Resources and HRIS-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Experience with Oracle is highly preferred.
Experience working in a Government Contracting environment is desired.
Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to work with people from all levels of the organization.
Organizational skills that allow multiple priorities and tasks to be accomplished concurrently required. Must be capable of managing projects from beginning to end.
This individual must be VERY detail oriented and demonstrate strong initiative with a proactive mindset.
Proficient and confident in Microsoft Office Suite. Requires high level competency in Word and Excel.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
NOTE: While this role is currently Work From Home, it may require reliable In-Office attendance at some time in the future.
Education and/or Experience:
A minimum of five years of experience with HR Generalist responsibility.
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Equivalent education and experience considered).
PHR or SPHR or similar certification desired.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
