Jack Link’s is excited to be adding to our Human Resources team with an awesome opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner. We are growing and looking for a team member that will be responsible for proactively advising and consulting with business leaders to recommend HR strategic solutions to build and develop high performing teams that will drive business objectives.

This role involves strong business acumen, demonstrated thought leadership and execution, and requires an innovative Human Resources leader and a self-starter who wants a hands-on role in building strong performing programs and processes within performance management, talent development, workforce and succession planning, and team member engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

• Builds trusting relationships with assigned business and Human Resources leaders and team members to drive alignment, engagement and achieve business results.
• Provides Human Resources support, guidance, coaching to manage team member relations using policies, procedures and best practice.
• Actively leads and partners with leadership to manage performance management, talent development/management, workforce and succession planning initiatives and annual cycles.
• Drives partnership of leaders and Talent Acquisition on making sound talent decisions to drive strategy execution and business performance. Monitors internal organizational initiatives, assists with internal development and movement, and develops action plans, with Talent Acquisition, to address staffing needs.
• Partners to implement and monitor compliance with policy, HR systems and applicable federal/state law (including but not limited to I-9’s, team member files, Worker’s Compensation, EEO, ADA, FMLA). Provide real-time recommendations for policy and practice updates.
• Applies analytical skills to collect and synthesize data, formulate recommendations based on data trends and insights. Demonstrated ability to leverage math, facts and data to represent business initiatives, including but not limited to headcount, salaries, budgets, etc.
• Leads Human Resource related projects and provides change management leadership.
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
• Develop and/or deploy various communication materials (examples: PowerPoint presentations, Human Resource process documents, team member related correspondence, etc.)
• Ensures leaders and team members are engaged, aligned and demonstrating an ongoing business literacy to the Jack Link’s Values and competencies.
• Maintains confidentiality with sensitive employment, financial and related information and documents.
• Travel required to support and/or learn other Jack Link’s facilities.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years comprehensive Human Resource Business Partner/Human Resource Manager experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certifications(s)
• Demonstrated experience working with SAP
• Demonstrated experience working with Cornerstone or related online performance management system
• Previous experience working in a consumer packaged goods (CPG) company supporting commercial teams

• Strong, demonstrated human resources and business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability and passion to engage with others authentically, establish trust, build long-lasting relationships and work effectively with all levels of team members and leadership. Effectively listen, negotiate and influence at all levels.
• Analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to see hidden problems and look beyond the obvious for answers. Demonstrated success in translating business strategies and analytics into organizational and HR actions.
• Keen attention to detail and strong prioritization and organizational skills.
• Project management and process improvement experience (Lean Six Sigma or AGILE).
• Experience working with a dynamic organization.
• Advanced proficiency in Internet navigation, Microsoft Word, Excel, (including VLOOKUP and Pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Self-motivated with a bias for action; strong decision making and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated previous experience working with and maintaining sensitive and confidential information and documents.
