Medical Office Assistant to work the front desk or office area of an established dermatologist. Will manage communications from patients and work with the doctor and medical staff. Their role is to be focused on great customer service, to keep track of patient demographics in the electronic health record (EHR) and organize office records to ensure that all patients get prompt care and provide the correct payment information for their accounts.
Responsibilities: Great customer service as the front-line person for the practice
Include but not limited to answering phones and solving patient problems/questions, booking appointments, entering insurance information into software, verifying insurance benefits, managing referrals in the EHR, managing incoming faxes, scanning labs/faxes into EHR
