JCS Solutions LLC Hiring for Logistics Team Lead at Arlington, VA Full Time

JCS Solutions LLC has a need for a Logistics Team Lead to join our growing team supporting the Defense Information Services Agency (DISA) Enterprise Managed Print Services (EMPS) project within the National Capital Region (NCR), primarily the Pentagon, Mark Center, and Springfield, VA. Position Requirements:

• Provide Enterprise Managed Print Services (EMPS) Support to all facets of installation, operation, device upgrades (i.e., hard drive changes for Secret Internet Protocol Router Network [SIPRNet] to Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network [NIPRNet] transition), software/firmware replacement and upgrades, decommissioning, logistics, monitoring, management, and restoral of devices.
• Supervise daily operations of the warehouse including receiving incoming shipments, sorting & transferring materials, and preparing shipments for outbound delivery.
• Maintain display high levels of professionalism, lead and develop a team of warehouse associates, and maintain constant communication with warehouse leadership at all times.
• Collaborate with all departments and management to maximize productivity in the facility, ensure associates receive proper training and mentorship, and manage hiring/scheduling to ensure that team is properly staffed at all times.
• Lead both outgoing and incoming shipping activities to meet shareholder expectations.
• Responsible for packing, posting, weight, and shipping charges as applies to each item to be shipped out.
• Responsible for compiling a list of unfulfilled orders for future reference.
• As applicable, decide the load limit of each truck used in the loading and delivery process.
• Read shipping notices, invoices, orders, and other documents to determine priorities and shipping methods that are needed to meet schedules.
• Notify maintenance unit or contact external service providers in the case of defects on materials for repairs.
• Carry out regular inventory cycle counts of supplied materials.
• Ensure the availability of stock to reduce shortages.
• Support the simplification and standardization of processes in a bid to enhance effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Manages reporting of Government property on contract to include, CAP, Monthly, and Annual Inventory Reporting
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A Master’s degree is highly desired.
• 5 years’ experience using material control procedures on Government Contracts

Desired Requirements:

• Mastery of Microsoft tools and applications
• Working knowledge of DISA and/or DoD is a plus.
