Basic Function
To provide daily and monthly accounting skills as directed.
Responsibilities
Daily / Weekly
- Daily bank reconciliation for cash accounts and bank operating accounts.
- Maintain daily cash report and run required reports in order to complete report.
- Maintain equipment valuation used in daily cash report and for monthly bank reporting.
- Assist and support Accounts Payable department on varying vendor matters
- Assist and Support Account Receivable & Cash Applications
Monthly / Quarterly
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations for Jesco, Inc. bank accounts.
- Record monthly payroll & other company accruals where needed.
- Reconcile whole goods & attachment inventory each month from GL to subledger.
- Reconcile Parts Inventory quarterly from GL to subledger.
- Maintain and oversee maintenance of records for fixed assets and depreciation.
- Prepare and file monthly motor vehicles tax returns for required jurisdictions.
- Prepare and file various state sales & use tax returns, and quarterly reconciliations
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and maintain binder/electronic files.
- Prepare monthly P&L account analysis and assist with monthly financial close.
- Maintain long-term debt schedules.
- Maintain company lease schedule.
- Backup to payroll administrator
Other
- Assist with P&L analysis & variance reports and prepare adjusting journal entries when needed
- Provide special reporting and analysis to management as requested.
- Assist with multiple financial audits throughout the year.

Education/Training
Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Experience
2 plus years accounting experience
