Human Resource Manager
We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to join our construction company. The Human Resource Manager will manage all aspects of the company’s HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and legal compliance. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local and federal regulations.
Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
Conduct new hire orientation and assist with onboarding processes.
Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefit-related questions.
Coordinate performance management activities, including employee goal setting, performance reviews, and promotions.
Conduct exit interviews and manage the offboarding process.
Develop and implement training and development programs for employees.
Maintain accurate HR records and manage HR-related databases.
Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and develop workforce plans.
Stay up-to-date with HR trends, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Human Resource Management, preferably in the construction industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience with HR software and databases.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
