Human Resources Associate
The Human Resources (HR) Associate for Junk King Franchise Systems, LLC and its associated entities of Junk King Enterprise and Junk King Bay Area, provides HR operational services, to support it’s expanding organization and workforce in multiple states. Managing workforce operational HR needs in partnership with hiring managers and leadership, as well as PayChex as a HR support vendor.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supports organization strategies and tools by identifying and researching multiple state compliance analysis, and recommendations to support workforce efficiencies and compliance.
• Manages HR day to day operations by assisting hiring managers, leadership, and employees with on- boarding documents, HRIS data entry, job descriptions, pay and/or promotions changes.
• Resource of support for employee leaves, process/policy research, employee communication, terminations, and HR risk mitigation.
• Owner of health and other benefits administration for multiple entities in partnership with PayChex representatives; new hire enrollment, multiple open enrollments, benefits change management, plan design/administration, termination of benefits and COBRA administration.
• Administers and updates multi-state compliance for employee handbook/associated policies documents
• Facilitate HR infrastructure; processes, procedures, policy, and compliance.
• Supports management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guides; communicating and enforcing organization values.
• Complies with federal, multi-state, and local legal requirements by studying existing/new legislation; anticipating changes; enforcing adherence; advising management on needed actions.
• Supports current HR reporting needs as well as any new reporting as needed to support individual entities and the organization as a whole.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Special projects and other work as need and/or as assigned to role

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years HR Associate or HR Assistant level experience required
• 2+ years of Health Benefits Administration required
• Multi-state workforce HR support/compliance experience highly desired
• Experience with PayChex HR/new hire/benefits/payroll services highly desired.
• Must be technically savvy with the ability to be resourceful in learning and managing multiple tools for multiple workforce groups across different platforms
• Must enjoy the challenge of identifying need and continually creating process improvement.
• High ability to be self-sufficient, resourceful, and independent, with the ability to also team up constructively with staff at all levels of the organization as needed.
• As the primary HR representative of the organization, must be committed to a genuinely positive solution-oriented attitude to support growing organization with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Be a key player in action and words in maintaining a positive company culture; balancing Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and experience with HRIS systems, and HR data entry tools.

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
