Job Summary:
This is a great position for an independent contractor position who wants to work on low-voltage, security systems, A/V, access controls, telecom, or HVAC controls. We are bidding on projects of different sizes in California.

Responsibilities

• Install cabling and equipment
• Do job walks if required, read floor plans and specs
• Assist with mobilizing field resources and material to kick off the project once we win the project
• Connect with supervisor in the field to ensure project is run efficiently and cost effective
• Interface with customers and update Kambrian office team (operations, accounting, and Project Manager) regarding project schedules and resolve issues
• Review material spend and labor hours to stay within budget
• Obtain permit as required and understand codes

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of relevant experience in low-voltage trade
• 1+ years of experience estimating low-voltage projects
• Computerized estimation experience a plus
• Technical knowledge needed for the trades bid on
• Ability and flexibility to prioritize projects based on business needs
• Ability to work with internal teams

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 – $48.00 per hour
