Administrative Management (Essential Functions)
Talent Acquisition
1. Placing job ads, screens resumes, interviews candidates, administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position within the organization.
2. Partners with leadership team to determine hiring needs in addition to developing and maintaining an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals
3. Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates while also administering and maintaining employee referral program
4. Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g. benefits, compensation, noncomplete agreements) and ensures all related clerical aspects of employment, such as completing of health, employment and insurance forms, notifying the department of employee’s start date and the requisition the employee is filed.
HR Generalist
1. Support leadership by assisting with the enforcement of company policy while ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
2. Perform maintenance of all employee records ensuring the company is compliant with existing employment laws and regulations.
3. Benefit Administration – Execute annual open enrollement and new hire enrollment of employees with all benefit programs to include termination of benefit coverages for employee separations including initiation of cobra.
4. Perform FMLA administrative process and assisting employees with disability claims.
5. Assist with payroll as needed.
6. Provide HRIS people management reports on a reocurring basis along with analysis of trending and consultative guidance to leadership
Management/Leadership
1. Serve as a role model to establish and foster a positive culture based on trust, respect, collaboration and integrity. Through personal example, establish the style and approach which will characterize the Company’s dealings with the marketplace.
2. Support, model and encourage a Culture of Compliance by adhering to, and fostering team members’ adherence to, the Code of Business Ethics and Conduct and Compliance Program.
3. Actively participate in the local and national Human Resource networks, societies, and collaboratives.
Other Duties
1. Perform other duties and special projects to support various organizational initiatives, as assigned.
2. Responsible, either directly or indirectly, for filing all expense reports according to company policy.
3. Responsible, either directly or indirectly, for completing time reports on or before the defined due date.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline; e.g. Business
3 years of directly related experience in all areas of Human Resources, including Employee Relations, Training and Development, Staffing, Compensation, Benefits and Organizational Development preferred.
PHR certification is preferred
Strong interpersonal skills, including building relationships with senior leadership
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proven experience in group presentations and group facilitation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, HRIS software, and the internet
