What’s a typical day as an HR Generalist II? You’ll be:
• Acting as a Human Resources Generalist for assigned Business Units
• Supporting units through growing and developing business partnerships, employee relations, recruiting, staffing & retention, training, organizational design & development, and compensation & benefits
• Providing counsel and information to clients to assist with the execution of corporate strategy that meets business needs
• Providing a positive environment and reducing legal risk to the organization
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Have 5-9 years of experience as an HR generalist with emphasis in behavioral interviewing, employment, training, employee relations, compensation, diversity, FMLA, payroll, management/organizational development, risk management, and loss control
• Have experience in warehouse/distribution center environments
• Have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
• Have experience with online recruiting software, preferably Oracle
• Have HR recruiting experience, including positions at the management level
• Have the ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Have sound judgment in decision making and problem solving
• Have strong conflict management skills
• Have the ability to work effectively with all levels of associates and management
• Have strong interpersonal skills
• Have the ability to lead and influence others
• Have a high degree of initiative, proven team player, and excellent customer service skills
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Can manage confidential information
