What’s a typical day as a Transportation Serviced Representative? You’ll be:

• Administering and managing export shipments from the producing facility through final delivery to the customer, including booking/rebooking and document related activities to meet customer requirements.
• Managing the space and equipment for each carrier to support production, meet customer requirements, and minimize costs.
• Performing all critical tasks necessary to confirm that cargo is shipped in a timely manner for all modes of export transport.
• Investigating and resolving transport related order problems.
• Coordinating with personnel in marketing, finishing, warehouse, the container yard operator and/or the carrier.
• Tracking and maintaining on-time shipment information for real-time corrective action, feedback to carriers, and measuring performance.

This job might be a great fit if you have:

• A high school diploma and 2 year degree or equivalent transportation experience
• Have 3-5 years in transportation, distribution, or freight forwarding related fields.
• Have an understanding of the Logistics business including best practices, trends, metrics, and latest systems.
• Have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and Transportation Management Systems
• Have strong oral and written communication skills

Shift Hours & Pay:

• Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm
• Pay: $20.00/hour
