Experienced Automotive Service Technician Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Automotive Technician /Mechanic experience
- Must have State Safety and Emissions Inspection License
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- High school diploma/industry certification equivalent required
- ASE certification is a plus
- Must have own tools
Experienced Automotive Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle repairs within the current capability/skill level.
- Cater to the specific needs of each repair order efficiently and accurately. This must be done within both dealership and factory requirements.
- Identify necessary vehicle service and perform the repair, service, and/or maintenance work.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
