Kimball Midwest Hiring for Safety Coordinator (Human Resources) at Columbus, Ohio Full Time

Our HR department is searching for a Safety Coordinator to join a fun and talented group of HR Professionals. Our Safety Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all activities involved in Safety and Workers’ Compensation to reduce the Company’s risk profile. Job functions include developing and coordinating safety trainings, investigating workplace accidents, and coordination of medical and workers’ compensation programs to control Company costs.

Qualifications

• This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related degree or four (4) years’ experience working in safety, Workers’ Compensation claims management, or risk management
• This position requires intermediate level computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook). It requires the ability to quickly grasp new computer related functions. Experience using ADP is preferred
• This position requires high levels of accuracy and quality in data entry, calculating figures, filing, and corresponding with customers (internal employees, sales reps, external customers)
• This position requires working of a minimum of 40 hours per week, the schedule of these hours can vary depending on need. Hours will typically be between the hours of 7am-6pm, Monday through Friday
• This position requires the ability to perform several tasks simultaneously and with accuracy, under specific time frames
