KimChris XPress, a family owned logistics company based in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking an energetic and assertive Recruiter who will also perform HR Generalist functions.
- Recruit, Screen, Interview, Hire and Onboard qualified Class A Drivers, Subcontractors and employees
- Proactively source potential candidates through online forums, social media and networking
- Screen and interview applicants via phone and in person
- Provide information on company and job opportunities to potential applicants
- Process applications
- Complete background screenings and reporting
- Complete retention calls to current drivers and subcontractors to build and maintain relationships
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute Human Resource Programs including but not limited disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles all employment-related inquiries.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, driver compliance with federal, state and local laws; recommend best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
At least one year of human resource and recruiting experience is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
