Location: Santa Ana, Ca
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am 5:30 pm (Alternate Fridays off)
Pay Rate: $24.00 $32.00/hr
Responsibilities:
– Maintain, monitor, and track various recruitments
– Prepare letters and memos as directed
– Perform various general HR duties
Minimum Qualifications:
– Associate s degree or equivalent
– 2 years experience in clerical and administrative support in a Human Resources Department, including courses in office practices, financial, statistical, or other clerical work
Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
– Business English, punctuation, spelling, and arithmetic
– Modern office practices, procedures, equipment, and standard clerical techniques
– Basic functions of a centralized human resource office, Civil Service system, and human resources principles
– Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook) and graphics software
– Ability to operate job-related software proficiently
– Maintain security and confidentiality of data and sensitive material
– Establish and maintain effective relations with various parties
– Handle sensitive situations with tact and discretion
– Prepare accurate reports from records and other source data
Highly Desirable:
– Municipal HRIS experience
– Public Sector HR experience
