Job Duties :

Assist with recruiting efforts, the selection and hiring process of new employees by scheduling interviews, verifying professional licenses and checking references.

Monitor systems to assure compliance with federal, state and local requirements for employee files.

Assist with managing a lead data base

Maintain systems to ensure processing of newly hired employees.

Process, organized, file and maintain employee file information in a timely manner.

Communicate compliance programs for facility human resource policies and procedures.

Keep Department Heads and Manager aware of candidate’s status.

Schedule appointments for fingerprinting, TB, physical and drug testing, benefits review and other post-offer requirements for candidates; ensure results are received prior to orientation and ensure that new hire packets are available for and completed by candidates.

Job Requirements :

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Computer experience and knowledge required.

Bachelor s degree required, preferably in business administration or human resources. Extensive experience in HR field may be considered in lieu of Bachelor s degree

Two or more years of HR experience

Ability to speak, write and understand English. Excellent communication skills required.

Must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.
