The HRS works closely with the VP of HR and other teammates to develop and implement effective HR administration. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure all changes to the employee files are properly recorded in the relevant databases such as ADP, enrollment rosters, compensation structures, org charting databases, LMS rosters etc. Ensure that regular HR reports are issued such as the monthly HR Dashboard and Roster, the Monthly Organization Chart, Benefits Administration.
Including COBRA administration and enrollment changesInterface with employees on matters pertaining to their coverages and help with issues encountered.Contribute to annual benefits plan design and renewal process and conduct the kickoff meeting for annual benefits open enrollment.Ensure compliance with ERISA requirements (filing 5500s, ACA 1095/94, SPDs. etc.
)Resident expert in all things related to ADP. Manages data entry, updates, reports, etc. Also works with Finance to process bi-weekly payroll in ADP.
Track and manage any updates & changes to staff licensure & update in ADP.Maintains employee files both in paper and electronically. Administer all aspects of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental coverage, vision care, flexible spending accounts, and retirement plans.
Collaborate with external benefits vendors to ensure the smooth delivery of benefit services, negotiating contracts and evaluating plan options.Educate employees on available benefits, assist with enrollment, and provide ongoing support.Monitor and analyze benefits utilization and costs, recommending adjustments to ensure competitive and cost-effective offerings.
Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Manage leave of absence programs, including FMLA, STD, LTD and disability accommodations.Schedule and conduct new hire orientations.
Keeping material up to date according to company needs and CARF accreditation required subject matter.Manage/conduct onboarding and offboarding activities. Coordinates position-specific and team specific onboarding & training with hiring managers.
Works with compliance to ensure monthly and annual CARF (accreditation) required trainings.Manage unemployment agency requests for separation information and other employment verifications for outside organizations. Attend unemployment hearings if necessary.
Conduct new policy & processes rollout training as needed.Generate HR reports as needed for management and compliance purposes.Answer employee questions regarding any HR subjects such as benefits, policies, or other HR matters.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications – Education and Experience: Must Haves:Minimum of 3+ years of HR generalist experienceBachelor’s degree in HR or business related subject or equivalent years of work experienceMust have strong benefits administration experienceMust have strong experience utilizing the full package of ADP HRIS system/software – to include payroll processing experienceMust have solid understanding of HR and payroll laws in Kolmac relevant statesMust have a strong knowledge of and advanced experience with Microsoft Office products with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software.Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing prioritiesAbility to work autonomously and display innovation to help take the role to the next level in HR excellenceStrong communication skills, (verbal and written) and the ability to build relationships internally and externallyAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityStrong attention to detail and accuracy Qualifications – Licenses and Other Required Credentials: PHR or SHRM-CP or related certification preferredPandoLogic.
