WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Human Resources Department at Lagniappe National Construction delivers employee-focused services with every interaction. Successful candidates will be approachable, action-oriented, flexible problem solvers with great verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail. The HR/Office Assistant will provide friendly and welcoming HR support to our team regarding a broad range of benefits, policy, and payroll topics while maintaining an appropriate level of confidentiality. This part-time position is located in Gulfport, MS.
Under the direction of the Chief Human Resource Office & Director of Administration (CHRO), supports all stages of the Employee Life Cycle (Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Onboarding, Engagement/Satisfaction, Offboarding).
Prepares, monitors, and attracts job postings; conducts employment verifications; and coordinates pre-employment processes.
Prepares, reviews, and/or processes a variety of routine correspondence, reports, logs, information, paperwork, invoices, forms, agreements, flyers, brochures, invitations, and/or other related information in assigned area of responsibility; keys information into applicable spreadsheets and/or databases.
Provide accurate and professional responses to questions and concerns from employees, contractors, and applicants.
Assist in the organization of company events, meetings, or programs.
Assist CHRO in updating HR and company policies, procedures, forms, etc.
Receives and distributes packages and mail daily.
Ensures the organization and maintenance of office equipment for the Corporate Office including the set-up of desktop workstations and troubleshooting to resolve PC, SurfacePro, and printer issues.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Are able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
