Job Discription
Vienna-based nonprofit Langley Residential Support Services is seeking a full-time Program Manager to support the individuals that we serve in our programs. We are looking for a person who has proven interpersonal skills to successfully interact with our individuals, families, county and state officials, volunteers, and members of the board of directors. This person needs to be a team player, energetic, easy going, and a creative problem solver to work alongside the other Manager and the Executive Director.
We are searching for an experienced person with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in human services-related subjects plus three years of experience in supporting people with development disabilities, of which at least one year has been in supervisory or leadership rolls. The preferred candidate has experience working with outside agencies/vendors; is a good multitasker, prioritizing and handling emergencies/crises, and always keeps the confidentiality/privacy of the individual and the agency in the forefront. You must be able to provide your own transportation to and from work sites and community events and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Qualified candidates will successfully complete a pre-employment screening such as a background check, drug testing, and reference verification.

Function: Oversight of the day-to-day activities of their assigned program area/caseload.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Staff supervision and personnel duties (15%)
Ensures that staff meet quality, timely and accurate standards for compliance 25%
Program Management 40%
Substitute for ED as needed 20%
Job Specifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in human services-related subjects plus three years of experience in supporting people with developmental disabilities, of which at least one year is supervisory or leadership experience.
Contacts:
Internal: Consumers, co-workers and supervisors, consumer family members and advocates, Langley board members, and volunteers.
External: CSB support coordinators, employment and day provider staff, DBHDS and DMAS staff, other professionals, and the general community.
