The Director of Sponsored Awards and
Compliance is a full-time, benefited, position within the Department of Institutional Effectiveness reporting to the Associate Vice
President for Institutional Effectiveness. The Director of Sponsored Awards and Compliance leads the Sponsored Awards Office and is
responsible for; developing institutional policies and procedures, ensuring strategic alignment with funding request submissions, sponsor
negotiations, award terms and conditions review and acceptance, and supervising and evaluating the performance of sponsored award functions
and personnel. Office pre-award functions include research of external funding availability and requirements, development of internal and
external collaborations/partnerships, technical assistance for preparation of proposals, and assuring alignment with college mission, goals,
capacity and regulatory requirements. Office award acceptance functions include funder negotiation, regulation verifications,
certifications, and oversight. Office post-award functions include expense review, time and effort certifications, funder invoicing, annual
LCCC audit support, and assistance to award mangers with audits and monitoring visits. The incumbent in this position serves as the
institution’s Authorized Organization Representative (AOR) and the Institutional Administrator for federal and state award
e-systems.

Benefits: Approximately
85% of health insurance premiums paid by the College, the College will contribute 13.19% of the employee’s salary towards their
retirement fund, 12 vacation days, 12 sick days, 2 personal days and 15 paid holidays annually. Typically 5-7 paid holidays from Christmas

Compensation: This is a managerial 3 position.
The annual salary is $67,257.93.
