REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYMENT:

• CDL CLASS A
• 1 YEAR DRIVING OTR
• CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
• FLATBED EXPERIENCE
• WILLING TO STAY ON ROAD 2-3 WEEKS OR MORE

Responsibilities:

• Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers

• Be able to handle the pressure of being on schedule
• Be comfortable driving for extended periods of time
• Be available for a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Know how to use GPS navigation
• Be able to deal with difficult situations such as bad weather and road closures
• Be able to secure loads with proper safety equipment
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures

• Collect and verify delivery instructions

• Report defects, accidents or violations

• Inspect vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
