Legrand North America Hiring for Transportation Analyst Job at Remote Full Time

• Organization: Individual Contributor competency model
• Main Interface: Transportation suppliers, Warehouse & Logistics associates, Customer Service, and Finance Teams
• Budget: Assists in developing and managing the transportation savings tracker and budget templates, as needed
• Main Job Duties:
• Develop models, metrics, and analytical tools using MS Access, Excel, and Power BI to evaluate transportation cost, service changes, carbon usage and discover savings opportunities
• Provide reporting and analysis in support of business operations (purchasing, customer service, sales team, acquisitions)
• Drive compliance with routing guides and core carrier usage
• Train new users on transportation systems and procedures
• Assist with logistics projects/implementations (new carriers, IT systems, procedures)
• Audit freight invoices for compliance with negotiated rates and terms, and work with carriers to resolve rating/billing disputes
• Assist with tactical Transportation documentation, claims, email support and systems
• Additional job duties may apply based on business needs, under the direction of management or senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years analytical experience required
• 2-5 years International Transportation/Logistics experience preferred
• Experience with trade compliance and/or Import & Export Operations a plus
• Experience with NAFTA/ USMCA and C-TPAT a plus

• Excellent MS Office skills, specifically Advanced MS Excel & MS Access. SQL/advanced database experience and/or systems implementation experience a plus
• Well-rounded knowledge of logistics/shipping terms and concepts. International logistics experience a plus
• Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Embraces change
