Senior Account Executive – Law Enforcement & Local Government Learning Vertical

Lexipol is looking for a Senior Account Executive who will be responsible for growing our Law Enforcement, Corrections, & Local Government Training business.
Lexipol is the nation’s leading content, policy and training platform for public safety and local government, enabling first responders and leaders to better protect their communities and reduce risk. The Senior Account Executive is responsible for selling Lexipol SaaS Learning products and services. Our mission is to enhance the safety and effectiveness of the men and women who serve and protect our communities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Partner with agencies to understand their needs, map those needs onto corresponding solutions that Lexipol offers, and collaborate with other Lexipol team members across product lines to engineer a holistic solution that meets the helps our customers accomplish their mission of public safety/public service. You will conduct business primarily through virtual meetings and calls in your remote setting. You will occasionally interact with customers through in-person presentations, conferences, and trade shows.

SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Account Executive’s primary responsibilities include prospecting new accounts, qualifying, selling, and closing business for our learning products.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
o Consistent existing track record of meeting or exceeding assigned key performance indicators and generating value for your organization.
o Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Excellent presentation and virtual platform (e.g. Teams, GoTo Meeting, Zoom) skills.
o Success in influencing, persuading, and gaining the confidence of prospects and clients by establishing relationships and building trust.
o Understanding of current issues, trends, legal decisions, and legislation in the public safety sector.
o Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Preferred experience:
o Demonstrated success achieving all sales quotas in a SaaS sales environment.
o Demonstrated success in achieving sales metrics including prospecting, calls, & presentations in a SaaS sales environment.
o Proficiency with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
o Minimum of five years public safety experience including participation in evaluating and procuring public safety products and services and working with partners across the public safety industries (law enforcement, fire-rescue, communications, corrections, etc.) and other public service departments.
o Minimum of two years SaaS sales experience and/or selling products/services to public safety and public sector organizations.
