Liberty Mutual Insurance Hiring for Manager, Vendor Operations Job at Remote Full Time

• Prepares presentations or other communication materials (e.g. dashboards) for internal stakeholders, partners and/or vendors to communicate results and support day to day operations
• Leads and/or participates in meetings with stakeholders at various levels
• Manages a team of individual contributors who support claims vendor categories
• Responsible for delivery of work including Cost, Quality, Timeliness, other Service Level Agreements, and other operational metrics
• Defines individual performance objectives and development plans to ensure alignment with project and department objectives
• Evaluates team and individual performance and makes hiring and compensation recommendations
• Establishes and maintains productive working relationships with stakeholders including internal stakeholders and vendors
• Improves Claims Vendor Management Teams site to drive consistency of practice across Claims Vendor Strategy team and other vendor relationship managers in Claims
• Participates in the modernization of tools, reporting, and processes that lead to a flexible and intelligent vendor ecosystem
• Participates in stakeholder prioritization and trade-off discussions

Qualifications

• Bachelor`s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5-7 years of experience managing teams in project management or operations roles.
• Strong analytical and decision making capabilities.
• Builds strong working relationships across organizations and cultures at all levels, ability to lead work across multiple stakeholders under competing deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Advanced written/presentation/organizational skills, ability to organize, lead and get work done through others.
• Ability to take initiative and ownership with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Previous experience working with third party vendors preferred.
