Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage site operations, in a safe, environmentally compliant, and effective manner.
· Workforce management & leadership – Ensures proper staffing levels, develops people, and focuses resources to attain key safety, financial, and operational goals & budget.
· Utilizes metrics and reports to identify trends, make course corrections to maximize production efficiency and profitability of the business unit.
· Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives at the division level.
· Proactively communicates with division leadership about site performance, daily logistics and situations that may impact the achievement of budget or other operational priorities.
· Adheres to annual operating budget.
· Fosters an environment of Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement and Best Management Practices.
· Ensures that standardized work practices are exercised daily including
· Job safety analyses,
· Lock Out – Tag Out,
· Daily housekeeping checklists,
· Product quality checks to meet/exceed customer specifications,
· Fire / Safety
· Preventative maintenance work orders (Manager+) are 100% complete/on-time.
· Leads a team of supervisors responsible for day to day plant/facility operations.
· Ensure that maintenance work orders are generated timely for needed equipment and building repairs.
· Partner with Regional Grade Manager to ensure build specifications and delivery.
· Provides support to the operations Mon – Fri, on-call/as-needed basis Sat/Sun.
· Minimal travel is required.

· Ability to foster an environment of teamwork.
Education and Work Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related industry experience required.
· A minimum of 5 years relevant experience required.
· Proven history of establishing safety performance with a low TORIR and LTIR.
· Experience managing a plant or process operation preferred.
· Working knowledge of industry state and federal regulations and guidelines.
· Engineering or Mechanical Degree a Plus.
